Dr. Darby Beach has a Doctorate in Education and a Masters Degree in Public Health. She has been a Gerontologist for the past 25 years, helping thousands of older adults and their families navigate later in life transitions. She is a keynote presenter at numerous national and international conferences and contributes to publications such as Hospice Journal, The Journal of Gerontological Nursing, The Journal of Gerontological Social Work and others. She presently writes a column for the San Diego Union Tribune focusing on aging.
